As a dedicated studio to sustainable fashion, we are thrilled to be part of the highly anticipated Alternative Fashion Week 2023 in Copenhagen.

The event, in its second edition, wants to promote an alternative future for the fashion industry, one that has a much higher degree of respect and responsibility towards people and nature.  

At the forefront of sustainable fashion, our studio practices, in facts, revolve around using materials in the most resourceful manner, leaving no fabric scrap to waste. Each stitch and creation at Circular Atelier Amager Studio embodies our commitment to reducing the fashion industry’s environmental footprint.

A primary focus of our work is the art of repair. We take clothes that may have been discarded due to minor damages and skillfully repair, rejuvenate, and give them a second chance at life. This not only extends the lifespan of garments but also preserves the memories and emotions attached to them.

Moreover, we practice the art of upcycling and repurposing textiles. By transforming pre-loved garments and outdated fabrics into contemporary and stylish creations, we challenge the throwaway culture of fast fashion. Each upcycled piece carries a unique story, narrating the evolution of fashion and our collective responsibility to protect the environment.

We believe that fashion can be ethical, environmentally responsible, and incredibly fashionable.
