In February 2026, the Atelier turned three, officially stepping into its fourth year.
A birthday is always a moment that invites me to pause and reflect on the journey of the past twelve months, and to notice what has changed compared to the year before.
2025 was undoubtedly a year of major challenges, one that truly tested the resilience of this project. From June to the end of September, as some of you may remember, I wasn’t able to work regularly in the studio due to the renovation works in the building that hosts me.
I feared that this situation might undermine my project, but as soon as I was able to return to my regular rhythm, I found the same warm welcome from my clients as before. One of my goals from the very beginning was to build an activity with solid foundations — something capable of surviving the unexpected blows that life can deliver. Flexibility and organisation remain key elements in navigating obstacles.
Upon my return, I introduced basic sewing courses and workshops for anyone who wanted to get in touch with sewing and learn how to use a sewing machine.
Adults and children stepped into the Atelier to learn how to embroider, sew, create, and explore.

The Wardrobe Swap
In September 2025, I took part in an event in Italy, my home country, as part of an initiative called “Il cambio dell’armadio” (“The Wardrobe Swap”), organised by the association Le vie dell’Orto.
Le vie dell’Orto ( “The Paths of the Garden” ) it’s a community of people who share a responsible approach to purchasing and using goods, and who cooperate to make this way of living as accessible as possible. They promote natural agriculture, local food, and solidarity between producers and citizens through a self‑managed, transparent, and inclusive model.
The Wardrobe Swap allows people to sell the clothes they no longer use within the context of the event. The proceeds go to the association, which then credits you with an amount you can spend on products from their Emporium.

Gratefullness
I want to thank everyone who believes in me every single day and makes this adventure, this growth, this journey of self‑realisation possible. This is not just my job — it is a profound learning experience, one that continues to shape me in ways I could never have imagined.
Now I look toward the future, preparing to welcome spring — the season when intentions take shape, and ideas begin to seek space and structure.
It’s time to start moving again. See you soon.
Valeria
